No matter who or where you are, you need relationships! As humans, we are all wired for connection! And the greatest enemy of life-giving, whole-hearted and vulnerable connections is… you guessed it, shame. Shame seduces us into secrecy, insists on silence, and results in judgment. When we begin hiding, and are afraid to be vulnerable, we begin blaming others and ourselves for the disconnection that we feel. Instead of pulling people towards us, we push them away, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy that we are not worthy of love and acceptance. So then, disconnection is the result. ~ Kris Vallotton
The first orphan was the devil... he was created by God and was Loved by God until... yep, until selfish pride set in and he wanted the glory all for himself... Is it any wonder that the orphan spirit is so relevant in many today, satan wants as many people as he can to experience what he experiences everyday... Remember today that satan and his minions are liars and you have authority to choose today to let Jesus come to you and breathe Truth into every area of your life 🙌. “I promise that I will never leave you helpless or abandon you as orphans—I will come back to you!” ~ John 14:18 TPT
