Testimony!

I have been reflecting on our time with Dwayne & Karen at Vibrant Church's youth retreat. It is hard to put into words the gratitude in my heart for God's gift to the youth and adults through Dwayne and Karen's ministry to us. Two weeks later, we are watching fruit continue to spring forth in the lives of our youth. We asked Dwayne to be free to share what the Spirit laid on his heart and it is obvious he did that. The "hard talk" on sex and protecting each other is bearing fruit as we have had a youth come forward and confess. We are working with this youth now to walk in victory. The truth that God loves them, God loves them, God loves them! Is being fully understood by some for the first time. The genuineness of Dwayne and Karen captured the attention, and even though the kids were slow to be drawn out, we are seeing the evidence that they were listening. I think the biggest testimony was traveling back in the van, we were about 15 minutes down the road on the way home and half the van load was asking to turn around and go back. Immediately, I was asked if Dwayne and Karen could come back next year to our retreat and could it be longer. That question was supported by all the kids. I know my life was touched by this couple's willingness to listen and be used by Holy Spirit, and I am seeing the evidence in the youth as well. To God be the glory!
